Software Piracy

In the United States and many other countries, copyright law provides for severe civil and criminal penalties for the unauthorized reproduction or distribution of copyrighted material. Copyrighted material includes, but is not limited to, computer programs and accompanying sounds, images and text. Under U.S. law, infringement may result in civil damages of up to $100,000 and/or criminal penalties of up to five years imprisonment and/or a $250,000 fine.

Unsolicited Email (Spam)

It is the policy of American Dictation Corporation that no one may send or distribute unsolicited email advertisements, surveys, files, jokes or other communications which are part of a wide email campaign (commonly referred to as "spam"). No federal or state legislation requires that we expend time, money, and other resources to accept, delete, process or "remove" our names in dealing with these flagrant thefts. Therefore, it is our stated policy that any unsolicited emails sent to any domain that is owned or managed by American Dictation Corporation will result in a fee of $62.50 charged to the apparent sender or sponsor of the email. Invoices may be sent by postal or electronic mail and are due and payable to our corporate offices within 10 days of the date of invoice. Failure to remit this fee will result in further legal action. This fee is fair and just compensation for the time and effort we have to spend in filtering, deleting and otherwise dealing with these interjections into our busy days.
