For clients or providers (physicians, lawyers, etc.), the Olympus DS-4000 provides the most functionality and features for the money. The DS-4000 pairs especially well with the AS-4000 (see below) to provide automatic workflow productivity, encryption and transfer. The DS-4000 includes a recharging base and its rugged construction means that the client will have years of reliable service. The removable media card allows clients to record a virtually unlmited volume of work simply by swapping media cards.

Digital Transcribing Kit

For transcribing voice files produced by the DS-4000, the Olympus AS-4000 provides extra features designed to work integrally with the DS-4000, including workflow management, automatic reception of transferred files and a durable footswitch.

The AS-4000 also includes a quality headset and can act as a download management tool for the DS-4000.

File Transfer Service

The NovuScript™ File Transfer Service is now at Version 2.0. The latest version provides increased HIPAA compliance, file management and workflow assignments. This web-based application requires no additional software and allows the transcriptionist to serve their clients regardless of geographic distance. Easier and more compliant than secure FTP. Much less hassle and much safer than encrypted e-mail.
