NovuScript is dedicated to providing our customers with the highest level of expert support in the industry. Below are links to downloads and other items that hopefully will be of help to you.
If you need to contact us for technical support, you may call 866-408-1383 between 7a and 5p, Pacific Time, Monday-Friday. Technical support is provided free of charge for our customers. Please have the name under which you placed your order, or your order number, when contacting us.

Would you like to know about updates when they occur? Join our Google Group where we announce them as they're added here (membership is limited to existing NovuScript customers, but anyone can view the postings).
Interactive Assistance
To assist you "hands-on" with configuration or support issues, we can connect directly to your PC or Mac to help you diagnose and fix problems. Interactive assistance is available for any product purchased from NovuScript.
To begin, you must call us at 866-408-1383 to receive a unique PIN code. For security purposes, this code is only good for one session. Once the session is over, we cannot re-connect to your computer without providing you another PIN code.
Software Updaters
Olympus DSS Player Pro
DSS Player Pro Release 4.x Update Version 4.10.3. Windows 2000/XP/Vista (9.6 mb). Updates both the Dictation and Transcription modules. Will NOT upgrade Version 3.x of the DSS Player Pro. Read me, first!
DSS Player Pro Release 4.10.3 Vista Installer MSI. Windows Vista (52.8 mb). If you're installing the DSS Player Pro on Windows Vista with a RS-25 footswitch, or would have trouble using your installation CD with Vista, download and run the "setup.exe" file. This download is a ZIP file, so a program to un-zip archives is necessary.
DSS Player Pro Release 3.x Update Version 2.5.0. Windows 2000/XP (5.5 mb). Updates both the Dictation and Transcription modules. Read me, first!
Olympus DSS Player
DSS Player V6 Update to V7. Windows 2000/XP (18.3 mb). This is a FREE upgrade module for the DSS Player V6. This upgrade supports podcast and new DS series Olympus recorders. This update is applicable to all V6 versions. Check the readme file for additional information. Read me, first!

Philips SpeechExec
The SpeechExec software includes an updater function. See your configuration settings, or contact us for assistance.
Philips SpeechMike Drivers
CD Driver and Utility v2.3B160. Vista. Driver installer for SpeechMike II models for Vista compatibility. (Sorry, there will be no Vista driver updates for the first generation SpeechMikes.)
Sony Voice Editor
3.1 Updated Version. Vista/XP (56.5 mb). New, long-awaited update to Sony Voice Editor. Will require that you un-install version 2 before installing. Follow the instructions carefully when installing.
Free Software
DSS Player Lite for Windows. Windows 2000/XP (2.1 mb). Windows audio player for playback of DSS, WAV and VAL format.

Firmware Updaters
Before installers ANY firmware updaters, read the accompanying document first. Failure to follow the instructions may disable your recorder and will require service at our authorized service center.

Repairs and Service
If your Olympus, Philips or NovuScript brand digital dictation device or accessory should malfunction, you may send it to our factory-authorize repair facility. For Sony and other brands not listed, please contact us for repair information, or consult your Owner's Manual.
To request repair service, either in or out of warranty, please download the form below, fill it out completely, and fax it to 760-942-3799. Follow the instructions on the form for shipping.
