DS-5000 to Arrive Soon!

We have received word that our first shipments of the Olympus DS-5000 and DS-5000iD will be arriving in the first week of May! The AS-5000 Transcription Kit will follow in about two weeks.

The DS-5000 is priced at $499. The DS-5000iD with fingerprint scanner is $599. Our price includes free 2-day shipping, and FREE installation, configuration and training by remote access.

Announcing the NEW Olympus DS-5000 and DS-5000iD Digital Voice Recorders

We're very excited to announce that Olympus has made public details about its latest addition to the widely popular DS format professional digital handheld voice recorders. The DS-5000iD is the same as the DS-5000, but includes an extra security feature: a biometric fingerprint reader. This unique feature makes it easy for users to unlock their recorder by simply swiping their finger over the reader on the back of the recorder.

NOTE: These new recorders are NOT replacements for the DS-4000. In fact, the bestselling DS-4000 will continue to be an important part of the Olympus line-up at least through 2008.
